Puppy, puppy wishing you a Happy Birthday and he baked a cake for you also!! I got the idea to make this card due to my DH asking my dogs if they were going to sing happy birthday to me on Sept 10th. The pink little hearts on the corners of the card are stick ons, the words within the square are computer generated, the cake is a punch out from Martha Stewart and stickles were added. The words Happy Birthday (coming from the puppy) is a stamp, the florals on the card is a stamp and the cute little puppy is an image that I printed and cut him within the nestabilities oval scallop and placed stick on pearls around the puppy's neck.

Card to the President of USA
Yes this is a card that I made and actually sent it to the President & First Lady Obama! I know that many of you is probably asking yourself WHY I did this! Believe me, it's something that I hav NEVER done in my life, but God put it on my heart and in my spirit to do this. I know that some of you may not like our current President, but this card is NOT about who our current President is..it's about the fact that our President is a "person" and our nation is in big trouble! I just made & sent this card to him to remind him to let God lead him in order for him to lead the nation.

A simple "Love You" card. Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday, happy birthday to me!!!! Well, my birthday is not until Sept 10th but I wanted to make this birthday card for me to me a little early as I'm working on other projects. Since I make cards for others, I wanted to make a card for myself. Something exciting will be occurring for me during Sept, you see a very good Cricut board friend of mine (Nancy @gonecricrazy) will be making birthday cards for me and mailing a card to me starting Sept 1st until the date of my birthday (Sept 10th)! That means, everyday for 10 days I'll get a birthday card!!! Isn't she the sweetest person!! As I get them I will post them for everyone to see her good works.
To make this card, I used the nestability oval scallops and the edgeabilities rose. Some purple & white ribbon, added stickles to the roses, used a stick on white rose with pearls and stamped happy birthday.

Sympathy Card
Well, I really "hate" creating sympathy cards, but it's one thing to make a sympathy card for a friend or someone that you don't know, it's another thing to make a sympathy card for person that you're close to and know very well. On Friday, my husband and I received word that his best friend dead. It was sudden and that's what hurts the most! My husband and his friend had some many plans, but God had other plans and God called a close friend home.....

Arizona Zoo Card
Since I live in the great state of Arizona, I thought it would be nice to create a card (that would be given to a child as birthday card), showing "my version" of the Arizona Zoo! Just something fun to do. All the animals were stamped on and the scallop is from the wild card cartridge. The words are computer generated. Added some some green glitter dots around the scallop for added pop. Colored the animals with prisma pencils & OMS.

Rubik's Cube Card
Okay, I wanted to try a new tech, so I went to "Dawn's" blog! She calls this card The Never Ending Card", but I call it a Rubik's Cube card. This was the hardest card I have ever made!!! I say hard, because of all the scoring, stamping images, etc! But this is a fun card and it makes you smile once you get it all together. I don't think I'd give this card to anyone because they wouldn't know how to open it. Of course, if I were going to give it to someone, I would color the images and make the card pretty. To make this card, you need 4 pieces of cardstock, cut each at 3 X 6". Score all 4 pieces vertically at 1 1/2", then score the both ends of all 4 pieces horizontally at 1 1/2". Lay 2 pieces of the vertical scored cardstock together (side by side), put adhesive on all 4 corners, place the 1 piece of the horizon scored cardstock on top of the vertical cardstock (make sure you start at the top), then place the last piece of horizon scored cardstock on the bottom of the vertical cardstock. Fold card where scored, then stamp your images on all squares on cardstock.
