HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Good Monday morning to everyone, I hope everyone had a blessed weekend. I saw this card on a friends blog and I had to try to make it. I'm not sure of the name of this card, but I call it Birthday Fold Surprise Card! I can't get the pictures to come into my computer in the right order, ut I'll try to explain them. The first picture is the front of the card with the tab lifted up (the tab folds into the flip in the front of the card). The second picture is the inside of the card, the third picture is the back of the card and the last picture is the front of the card. This was a fun card to make and I think it just a cute little card. Enjoy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Well everyone, I'm in a birthday mood because my 53rd birthday is coming up on September 10th! (no I don't mind everyone knowing my age because I'm totally blessed to reach another year older). Therefore, I'll be creating a few birthday cards to celebrate. I make this card using the largest Spellbinders label 8 cut die and I cut it so that the side wouldn't cut. On the base card, using the med size Spellbinders oval die, I cut a hole and I used the cut out and stamped Happy Birthday on it with 2 pearls and glued it inside the card. On the base of the card, I stamped some florals and placed 4 small pearls. That's it! Enjoy.

Comfort in the Spotlight
On this card I was just playing around and was trying something different that is out of my comfort level. I was trying to create a southern setting in the spotlight. It turned out okay, but it could be a lot better. I cut out brown branchs from the Storybook cartridgeand placed them in each corner, the frame is the large Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Square. I printed the picture, colored it used prisma coloring pencils and OMS and then I sponged around the couch and table trying to show a light or spotlight around them. Lastly, I added some gold pearls. Your comments (good or bad) are welcomed.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
I was in the birthday mood, so I made a simple quick and easy birthday card. I used red metallic paper (it looks pink due to the camera) and the bubble cuttlebug folder, the white card stock (layer) was cut at the bottom with a MS punch. I used a Spellbinders Label cut die and sponged it with red ink, stamped roses on it and stamped Happy Birthday. Enjoy.

The Serenity Prayer Card
The other day, I was feeling a little out of touch with things and as I sat at the computer looking at the blank computer screen, the Serenity Prayer came to my mind. Therefore, I decided to make a card and label it "The Serenity Prayer". I used the tiny bubbles cuttlebug folder, Spellbinders Label 8 die, tiny blue pearls white ribbon and a small blue ribbon with white pearl heart.

Bible Card
I am so "excited" that I was able to make this card!!! I saw this card on a friend's blog and because I'm a preachers kid, I just had to make it. It's an open book Bible and I just LOVE it! This card fits in an A2 envelope and it's a wonderful card to make and send to your loved ones. To make this card, the base (black card stock), I cut it @ 5 1/6" X 7 1/16", the top layer (lavender card stock), I cut @ 4 3/4" X 6 3/4". Use Spellbinders Label 7 to make this card. You will use the first 3 sizes of the die. On my card, I typed out the Lord's prayer on the base, I also typed the words on the Bible sheet. I added a small piece of ribbon to the Bible, added brads, stamped the praying hands, added a rose, lastly I added a little liquid pearls. If you want the step by step directions of how I made this card, just let me know.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
This card fits an A2 envelope. The base card is lavender card stock, I used Spellbinders Fleur De Lis pendant, ran it through the cuttlebug and embossed it, then I cut it in half. The 1st layer is black card stock and I attached the 2 halfs of the Flue De Lis to each side. The 2nd layer is lavender card stock and I attached it to the 1st layer. Using the Storybook cartridge, I cut out the tulip frame @ 3 1/2" on accent/frame setting and used the bubbles cuttlebug folder. I cut out a circle using Spellbinder and embossed it. The words are computer generated and I added lavender liquid pearls.

I can do ALL things!
Happy Monday everyone and I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Yesterday (Sunday) was 18 years of "going together" for my husband and I. Yes we meet each other 18 years ago this past Sunday. I know that so people don't keep up with the first day they meet or started going with their husband :), but I do. My husband & I have been married for 13 years now and still deeply in love :)!
So I made this simple card yesterday, just to celebrate our 18 years of "going together"! Also, I just received some liquid pearl and I wanted to try them. On this card, the liquid pearl is a little messy, but when I use the liquid pearl again, it will be better. Thank God for sending me the man of my dreams... I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

Hello everyone and happy Friday to you! The wedding card...I made this card as follows:
the base card is on white card stock paper and cut at 5 11/16" X 8 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4" (the card fits an envelope size of 4 3/8" X 5 3/4"). I used the floral cuttlebug folder and cuttlebugged the entire card, at the very bottom of the card, I used my scor pal and scored 2 lines. I used Spellbinders lacey oval and embossed it, I cut out wedding rings on gold metallic paper using Potpourri Basket cartridge @ 1" (or 1 1/2" I forgot) then I cut out the man & woman within the heart using the Love Struck cartridge @ 2", I also cut out the black out shape of the heart in gold metallic paper for the back ground. Lastly, I added white pearl. Hope you like it!
