Happy Birthday to my Daddy!!! My father will be 81 years old on Dec 19th and I thank God for him. Since he's a preacher, I decided to make a religious birthday card for him. I used a cuttlebug folder on the bottom of the card, spellbinders folder for the frame of the card and the Bible, the praying hands and the Happy Birthday words are stamps that were embossed with red embossing powder and heated. Lastly I used a red ribbon across the middle of the card.

God Called our Pet Home!
On October 16th, God called our wonderful "beloved" Reginald home! That was a very sad, sad day for my husband and I. We've had Reginald for 13 years and he was always full of life, fun and love. We will miss him. Some people would say, it's just a dog...but when you've had a pet for a long time, the pet becomes a part of your family. I made this card to get to the animal hospital doctor and her staff for taking very good card of our Reginald through the years. When Reginald passed away, the veterinarian (Dr. White) cried with us, as it was a sad day for her also. Reginald is resting in the arms of the Lord now...we love you Reg and will truly miss you!

Thinking of You
I made this card for a very close friend of mine. She "loves" Halloween, as a matter of fact Halloween is her favorite holiday! She moved far away from me and we don't get a chance to see each other like we used to, so I thought it would be nice to make a simple Halloween "thinking of you" card for her.

Get Well
I made this "Get Well" card for an Usher that attends my dad's Church. Sis James is truly the warmest God believing person I've known in a while. As soon as you walk in the doors of the Church, she's always right there to greet you with a heart felt smile! I'm wishing her speedy recovery from her surgery.

Wedding Card
Happy Monday everyone!! I wanted to do a wedding card that was a little different from the way I normally make wedding cards, and I came up with this card. (I hope you like it!)
For the card, the wedding cake was cut from the wedding cart at 6" on yellow foam. The label showing "Congrats" was cut @ 1"from the fabulous finds cart. Gold metallic ring & glasses were cut from wedding cart at 1". The word "Congrats" is a stamp and I embossed it with purple embossing powder. I also added lavender ribbon for the bow, white flat back pearls, purple gem pearls and the designs on the cake is a stencil. How do you like it????

Staying Young At Heart!
Staying Young At Heart.. Small title, but Huge message!! This is just a message card that I created for 2 reasons.. (1) I've heard so many people talk about how old they feel (2) my wonderful aunt sent a very nice email to me with some of the messages shown on this card. It touched me, so I made the card to help others know that just because your age is older, you can always feel younger!

Sympathy Card
A blogger friend of mine made a card like this one due to her son. One day her son emailed the words shown on this card to her because it was on his mind to send it to his mother. One week after he sent these words to his mother, he was in a very bad car accident and died. When I saw this card I just had to make it, but I changed it a little. This card has a lot of meaning to it!

Morning Glory!
Happy Friday Everyone! I call this card "Morning Glory", why I don't know maybe because I can't think of anything else to name it (smile). I was just playing around and decided to see how a card would look with a gray card base and silver metallic paper top layer (of which I used a cuttlebug folder on ) and a silver metallic cut of Spellbinder lattice pendant. I cut a oval shape and stamped the flower, colored it used prismacoloring pencils and OMS and then added clear stickle on the flower. I also added a little yellow shading around the flower to give the flower a little kick. I left a little room near the botom of the card to add hapy birthday/ anniversary, etc. This card can be used for any affair. Do you like it????
